Cut 1 tube (18) oz. refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough in half. (Or use your own chocolate chip cookie dough.)
Press into an 8 in. pan.
In a mixing bowl, beat 1- 8 oz. cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 egg. Spread over the crust.
Crumble the other half of the dough over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
