One of our favorite cookies:
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
24 maraschino cherries
Glaze:
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 T. butter
2 T. maraschino cherry juice
Make the cookie dough and divide it into 24 portions. Shape each piece around a cherry, forming a ball. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 min. Dip in icing.
