Grandma Miller's Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg

Mix the Crisco and the sugars well. Set aside.
In a bowl put:

1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp salt
Mix and add with other ingredients.
